Job summary

The position collaborates with the Quality Control/Assurance team to ensure compliance with FAA/CAA requirements, mentoring technicians and maintaining precise records for each aircraft and component.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 8 years aviation maintenance experience including 2 years Gulfstream experience and 2 years aircraft inspection.
• A&P (FAA) license required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Quality control inspections on aircraft/components.
• Inspect repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA-approved data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft.
• Keep accurate, neat records of work performed on aircraft/components.
• Coordinate with RTS to ensure timely production of aircraft records.
• Audit maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion.
• Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to flight.
• Mentor technicians on effective documentation.
