Job summary

PHI Aviation, LLC in Houma, LA seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic with an A&P certificate to perform airframe and engine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on multiple aircraft types, per FAA regulations and PHI directives. You may work with or without supervision and must sign logs and RAMCO entries for work completed.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of certified maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to prepare job documentation.

Qualifications

• A&P certificate required and maintained current.
• Minimum 6 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations.
• Follow manufacturer instructions and PHI specifications; comply with 14 CFR § 65.81(b).
• Maintain operating supplies and aircraft logbooks; prepare related documents.
• Report AOGs and MELs to managers and AOG desk.
• Log time against maintenance tasks accurately.
• Perform launch, turnaround, and recovery duties as applicable.
• Utilize RAMCO for records and trend HUMS data.

Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
