Are you an experienced aircraft mechanic looking to make a difference? PHI Health is seeking an A&P-licensed mechanic with 2+ years as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic to work on our helicopters.

Responsibilities Include
  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements and carry out tasks to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
  • Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule changes, aircraft changes, additional manpower, or technical assistance.
  • At field bases, maintain all aircraft assigned, review stock levels, requisition spares, and ensure safety and security of assets.
  • Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify work on aircraft logs and inspection forms meeting FAA, manufacturer, and PHI standards.
  • Comply with RAMCO entries, such as work packages, status sheets, removals, and installs.
  • Maintain communication with Lead Mechanic, AMBS, and other agents for effective job completion.
  • Manage parts inventory and recommend level adjustments.
  • Maintain company-provided tools and ensure calibration schedules are followed.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • High School diploma.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to pass physical, functional capacity, drug, and background checks.
  • Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting skills (preferred).
  • Ability to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice.
  • Availability to work night shifts as required.

  • 7 & 7 schedule.
  • Residence within 60 miles of the base.
  • Travel between bases required.
