Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior A&P Mechanic to join our team in Burleson, TX. This full-time position focuses on the maintenance and repair of medium to heavy helicopters. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and a passion for excellence in aviation maintenance.

Compensation and Benefits: Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 for qualified candidates. Competitive salary, shift bonuses, shift incentives, Annual Safety Bonus, Annual Employee Bonus, and much more. Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Details:

  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on medium/heavy helicopters to ensure airworthiness and compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs, including sheet metal work and avionics troubleshooting/repair.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records in accordance with FAA and company standards.
  • Respond to maintenance needs during scheduled hitches, with flexibility to travel frequently and on short notice.
  • Perform maintenance during night shifts as needed by operational demands.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain optimal fleet readiness.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified aircraft mechanic, with a focus on medium/heavy helicopters preferred.
  • Basic communication and computer skills.
  • Proficiency in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair is a strong asset.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity assessment (strength and flexibility), drug screening, and background check.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
