Job summary

COMLUX AMERICA LLC, located in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an A&P Maintenance Technician. You will perform scheduled inspections, routine service, troubleshooting, and complex maintenance on various aircraft types, while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Minimum qualifications include a valid FAA A&P certificate and 6+ years of progressive maintenance experience in aviation.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues.
• Experience reading and interpreting maintenance manuals and engineering drawings.
• Proven ability to mentor junior technicians and provide on-the-job training.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, routine servicing, and complex maintenance on various aircraft types.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians.
• Complete maintenance work per work orders, service bulletins, and approved manuals.
• Conduct functional tests and ensure proper documentation and sign-off.
• Identify and communicate maintenance, safety, or scheduling issues to leads/managers.
• Maintain a clean, safe hangar environment and adhere to PPE requirements.
