Job summary

Comlux America in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an experienced MRO Avionics Maintenance Lead to plan, coordinate, and lead the avionics maintenance team across scheduled and unscheduled work. You will ensure FAA compliance, engineering data usage, and safe, timely return-to-service of complex systems.

You will mentor technicians, review discrepancies, and collaborate with QA, Planning, and Engineering to optimize maintenance performance while delivering first-time fixes and reliable aircraft

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive avionics maintenance experience in aviation or MRO.
• Proven leadership as Lead Technician or Senior Avionics Technician.
• Strong ability to interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, IPCs.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and airworthiness practices.
• Able to read/write/speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and assign daily avionics maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians.
• Lead fault isolation, diagnostics, and testing of avionics systems.
• Ensure work complies with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Review discrepancies and coordinate return-to-service inspections.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering, Planning, and Aircraft Maintenance teams.
