Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an FAA-certified A&P Senior Specialist to support Gulfstream corporate fleet maintenance. Responsibilities include launch/recovery, preventive maintenance, inspections, and FAA-compliant repairs to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5+ years on Gulfstream or similar aircraft, strong diagnostic skills, and ability to read FAA regulations and maintenance manuals. Flexibility for shifts, travel, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA A&P certificate and IA certificate.
• 3–5+ years of Gulfstream or large-corporate aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply FAA regulations and maintenance documentation.
• Strong diagnostic skills and experience with maintenance-tracking software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (early mornings, nights, weekends) and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform launch/recovery procedures per Part 91 and FAA regs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and component installations/exchanges.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled inspections (annual, 100-hour, phase).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair airframe and engine systems.
• Interpret FAA regulations, AMMs, and maintenance programs.
• Ensure maintenance actions and documentation meet FAA/internal audit standards.
• Coordinate with team to optimize aircraft availability and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in SAFETY initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to junior mechanics as needed.
