Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector in Dallas, TX. The role ensures aircraft and components meet airworthiness standards and that all paperwork is properly completed and filed. Requires extensive aviation maintenance background, Gulfstream experience, and an FAA A&P license.

Weekend shifts are available, and the position is full-time within the Quality Assurance team. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED required.
8 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical) including 2 years with Gulfstream aircraft and 2 years aircraft inspection experience.
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.

Mansioni

Perform quality control inspections on aircraft and components to ensure conformity with FAA/CAA requirements and acceptable data.
Complete inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations.
Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements during maintenance or outfitting.
Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records of work performed on aircraft/components.
Coordinate with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner.
Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion prior to return to service approval.
Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to any flight activities.
Mentor technicians on effective documentation.
Communicate with management to identify work assignments and delivery schedules.
