Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a Senior A&P Mechanic to specialize in medium/heavy helicopters in Buckeye, AZ. The role includes maintaining airworthiness, troubleshooting avionics, and completing repairs while following FAA guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an FAA A&P certificate with both ratings and at least two years of hands-on experience. Must be able to travel, lift up to 100 lbs, and pass required screenings; sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA A&P certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic.
• Candidates must live within 60 miles (or within 1 hour drive) of the Buckeye base.
• Willingness to travel between bases.
• Must pass pre-placement physical exam and drug screen.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules including night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters to ensure airworthiness and safety.
• Troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls including sheet metal and avionics tasks.
• Adheres to FAA regulations and company maintenance policies.
• Documents all maintenance actions and ensures compliance with technical publications.
• Collaborates with team to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

• HighSchool Diploma or equivalent.
