Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a Senior A&P Mechanic to specialize in medium/heavy helicopters in Kirbyville, TX.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure airworthiness and safety across state-of-the-art rotorcraft. Requirements include FAA A&P certification (Airframe & Powerplant), at least 2 years’ experience, ability to travel, lift 100 pounds, and pass required screenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• FAA A&P certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic, with maintenance, sheet metal repairs, and/or avionics troubleshooting.
• Must live within 60 miles of Kirbyville, TX; travel between bases required.
• Able to pass pre-placement physical, functional capacity exam, drug screening and background check.
• Lift up to 100 pounds; travel frequently; flexible schedules including nights.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters to ensure airworthiness and safety.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and overhauls including sheet metal and avionics troubleshooting.
• Adhere to FAA regulations and company maintenance policies.
• Document all maintenance actions and ensure compliance with technical publications.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
