Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years direct experience in simultaneous 5-axis machining
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret GD&T
• Ability to design and fabricate basic fixtures
• Proficient with SolidWorks CAD and CAM tools
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume job shop environments
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fabrication lifecycle for assigned parts in a high-precision environment
• Perform CAM programming, tooling selection, and setup for 5-axis machining
• Collaborate with program engineers and machinists to develop holistic fabrication approaches
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following safety protocols
• Support prototype development and high-complexity hardware fabrication for national security programs
