Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to assess and maintain our CNC equipment in Sedalia, MO. You will read blueprints, input design specs, adjust cutting paths, and perform quality checks on final products. Reports to the Engineering Manager and works at the Sedalia center.

The role requires extensive 5-axis CNC programming experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work unsupervised in a manufacturing environment. On-site position at 2001 Proenergy Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301.

Qualifications

High school diploma and a technical trade degree or completion of a machinist apprenticeship program.
Minimum 7 years’ experience programming, setting up, and operating 5 Axis CNC equipment.
Must be fluent in English with strong communication skills.
US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

Create CNC machine programs for production: Set up, qualify, and ensure part conformance on various 5 Axis CNC machines.
Prepare sequence logic for machining operations for setup and production.
Train setup technicians and support changes to tooling and fixtures.
Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
Troubleshoot non-conformances from programming errors and perform quality checks.
