Job summary

PROENERGY in Sedalia, MO is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to assess and maintain our CNC equipment. You will read blueprints, input specifications, adjust cutting paths, and perform quality checks on final parts.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of programming, setup, and operation of 5-axis CNC mills, is fluent in English, and can work unsupervised. Reports to Engineering Manager; on-site position at the Sedalia facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience programming, setting up, and operating 5 Axis CNC equipment.
• Must be fluent in English with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• US work authorization required; pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs for production: Set up/qualify and ensure part conformance on various 5 Axis CNC machines.
• Prepare sequence logic for machining operations and select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds.
• Troubleshoot non-conformances from programming errors and train setup technicians.
• Read and interpret blueprints and design models; load materials and input product designs.
• Complete quality control tests during manufacturing and on finished parts.
