Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) is seeking an experienced NC programmer to develop and optimize multi-axis (primarily 5-axis) CNC programs for aerospace aluminum and hard-metal parts. You will create MCDs, setup docs, and robust NC programs while validating with Vericut to prevent collisions.

The role requires 7+ years of experience in production machining, strong GD&T and drawings interpretation, and CATIA V5 NC programming proficiency. 2nd shift flexibility and contractor eligibility are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of NC programming experience for production machining.
• Experience programming 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace parts.
• Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 NC programming and Vericut.
• Ability to produce clear setup docs and operator instructions.
• Willing to work 2nd shift; contractor eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Create, verify, and revise MCD, tooling geometry, and setup docs.
• Develop robust NC programs for aluminum and hard-metal parts.
• Develop multiple setups for complex geometries ensuring fixturing and machine selection support producibility.
• Produce clear setup sheets and operator instructions that enable safe operation.
• Use Vericut to validate programs and prevent collisions.
• Troubleshoot and iterate programs from first-article inspections and shop-floor feedback.
• Coordinate with planning and manufacturing to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
• Lead Level 4: design custom fixtures and tooling strategies across multiple machines.
• Maintain program documentation and configuration control.
