Applied Laboratories, Inc. is a family-owned Columbus, Indiana manufacturer focused on OTC health care products, seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift. The role ensures GMP-regulated equipment reliability and regulatory compliance with advanced mechanical and electrical expertise, including PLCs.

Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on filling lines, HVAC, and utilities; installation and IQ/OQ/PQ

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; PLCs a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
• Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pharmaceutical production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain control systems including PLCs, sensors, drives.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new equipment.
• Support audits with proper documentation.
• Promote safety and reliability; adhere to LOTO procedures.
