Job summary

URBN seeks a seasoned 3D Technical Designer to drive fit, construction and digital decision-making across the product lifecycle. Proficiency in CLO 3D and PLM will be essential as you lead patterning, trims and fabric exploration with speed and accuracy.

You will publish style data to factories, train the tech team, and ensure designs meet target margins while preserving brand integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or BS degree in fashion design, patternmaking, apparel tech, or related field.
• 5+ years in fashion industry with garment construction and patterning knowledge.
• Required: CLO 3D proficiency; PLM, Photoshop; familiarity with AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Publish style setups from Designers to relay info to factories for sample execution.
• Advise construction details and measurement specs.
• Create patterns in CLO 3D with realistic construction, trims, fabric.
• Support tech department for CLO 3D training and high level 3D style development.
• Review CLO 3D files to ensure vendor meets fit and construction intent.
• Tech Pack management: review, maintain, update specs sheets.
• Communicate fit corrections and construction details to teams and vendors.
• Conduct live fit sessions in CLO 3D, document fit notes, measure samples, issue revisions.
• Cross-functional support with production and sourcing to meet margins and capabilities.
