We are currently recruiting for a Preconstruction Designer to join our team in one of our regional office locations (Bloomfield CT., Miramar FL., Mendota Heights MN., or Portland OR.).
Supports Precon activities primarily through conceptual design and drafting submittal packages. Additional multidisciplinary involvement in Precon activities such as engineering, 3D modeling, code and spec review, wire frame and take offs are expected, along with close coordination with site and production teams for designs that are efficient for fabrication, assembly, and installation requirements. The coordinated designs and solutions are to be documented for use by project teams after award and/or for reference on future Precon work.
This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, a willingness to work on multi-disciplinary activities, be a strong team player, sufficient experience and thoroughness in conceptual vetting of designs, and a focus on delivering project specific and winning solutions. It is expected that individuals in this role show a willingness to embrace new technologies, tools and software to support the process of quoting and bidding work.
