Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. in McLean, VA is seeking a 3D Electrical Staff Designer to join our Data Center Mission Critical Group. You will create and refine detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, perform site walkdowns, and mentor junior team members while upholding safety standards.

You will collaborate with engineers and designers, manage BIM tools, and contribute to diverse projects across the U.S. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and proficiency in 2D/3D design.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 1 year design engineering experience.
OR Associate degree with 6 years design engineering experience.
OR minimum of 10 years of experience.
Proficient with 2D/3D design software; AutoCAD and Revit required; BIM360 preferred.
Knowledge of Electrical Design codes and standards.
Ability to travel 10–15% of the time.

Responsibilities

Create/modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit; develop REVIT families.
Perform client site walkdowns and generate walkdown reports.
Mentor junior designers; conduct peer checks and ensure safety standards.
Adhere to organizational procedures and safety directives.
Meet time goals for position/discipline.
