Job summary

Atlas Systems is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the 3D product configurator and its integration into the SAP S/4HANA-based commerce and manufacturing backbone. You will drive Drive Commerce / WebGL experiences and ensure configurations translate into correct SKUs, BOMs and pricing.

You will work across a complex stack including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Centric PLM, Precisely EnterWorks, webMethods and Manhattan/WMS to deliver accurate build sheets and order-fulfillment data.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in e-commerce storefronts or configurator development.
• Hands-on 3D graphics with WebGL (Three.js / Babylon.js) and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating with SAP, PLM, PIM/MDM and enterprise back-ends.
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frameworks (React/Next.js; Vue).
• REST/GraphQL API design and data modeling for product data and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of interactive 3D web configurators built on Drive Commerce plugin-based JavaScript / WebGL framework (Three.js and / or Babylon.js).
• Design and maintain the mapping from a customer’s 3D “recipe” to a valid, orderable outcome in SAP S/4HANA — resolving configurations to correct SKU, BOM and price.
• Build and maintain integrations across commerce platform, middleware, OMS and fulfillment to deliver accurate build sheets, pick lists and BOMs.
• Establish stable data contracts between front end and back-end systems and ensure price/SKU end-to-end accuracy.
• Partner with asset teams to translate high-fidelity CAD assets into optimized web assets and maintain versioned pipelines.
