ByteDance’s Pico team in San Jose is hiring a Research Scientist to advance 3D/4D reconstruction and generation for MR applications. You will participate in R&D of algorithms and foundation models, and help deploy them in real-world AR/VR contexts.

The role requires a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, strong Python/C++ skills, and a track record in 3D rendering, NeRF, or related areas. You will work across data curation, pre-training, evaluation, and deployment, within a collaborative

Formación

• Master’s degree or above in computer science or related fields; 3+ years of algorithm research or industry experience.
• Excellent programming skills; proficient in Python/C/C++ and common deep learning frameworks.
• Solid foundation in AIGC/3DV/CG; project experience in reconstruction or generation.
• Proficiency in 3D representation/rendering (Gaussian Splatting, NeRF, meshes, point clouds).
• Thorough understanding of the latest advances in reconstruction and generation.
• Preferred experience in 3D/4D reconstruction, generation, image/video generation, and publications.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in R&D for 3D/4D algorithms and foundation models, and promote their deployment in MR application scenarios.
• Develop and optimize large 3D/4D generative models (data curation, pre-training, post-training, evaluation, acceleration and deployment).
