Job summary

Medtronic’s Eatontown, New Jersey site is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for a full-time, onsite 2nd shift (M-F 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM). You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medical device manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot PLCs and robotics, and support equipment upgrades and reliability initiatives.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience, ability to read schematics, and familiarity with CMMS and regulated manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical devices or aerospace.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment used in medical device production.
Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and repair or replace components.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Troubleshoot machine controllers, electrical systems, PLCs, robotics, vacuum pumps, and automated systems.
Document maintenance activities and equipment history in maintenance systems.
