Job summary

RubyPlay is seeking a Senior 2D Animator to bring game assets to life, collaborating closely with creative and development teams to ensure high-quality results. You’ll create and refine animations for characters, icons, UI, and banners while integrating assets within the game pipeline.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a strong portfolio of game animations, and proficiency with Spine, Photoshop, and After Effects, with good English and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Spine, Photoshop and After Effects.
• Strong portfolio of game animations or technical animation skills.
• Good English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create and animate assets such as characters, symbols, backgrounds, UI elements, and banners.
• Implement, optimize and technically integrate game assets.
• Resolve problems between creative and development teams.
• Prepare final animations for delivery to the development team.
• Brainstorm and collaborate with the broader team.
