Outsource Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Design Specialist A- 2D/3D Structural Designer to support our client in Aiken, SC. The role involves developing designs for complex engineering systems, preparing drawings, and contributing to design standards and procedures.

Responsibilities include design output generation, review of vendor documents, and field walk-downs to assess conditions. A DOE clearance is required, with multiple work arrangements and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience as a Structural Designer.
• Knowledge of 3D structural modeling and Hexagon's S3D.
• Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for structural design.
• Must be able to maintain and obtain a DOE 'Q' clearance.
• Experience with structural detailing and design of building structures and commodity supports.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for complex engineering systems and prepare drawings and reports.
• Prepare construction installation specifications and bid analysis; review design changes.
• Coordinate with Subcontractors and responsible groups for approvals and changes.
• Provide field walk-downs and evaluate conditions on site.
• Produce design output documents including concrete, steel, rebar, and fabrication drawings.
