Job summary

Ragle Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Crawler Crane Operator to join our Heavy Highway/Civil Construction team. You will operate a 250-ton lattice boom crawler crane on major infrastructure projects, including bridge girder placements and heavy lifts.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with lattice boom cranes, understands lift plans and load charts, and is committed to safety while working on fast-paced, weather-affected sites across Texas.

Qualifications

• Active NCCCO certification for LBC cranes required.
• Minimum 5+ years of lattice boom crawler crane operation on heavy civil/ highway projects.
• Strong knowledge of load charts, rigging, lift planning and LMI.
• Experience with bridge/highway construction preferred.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork on demanding sites.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 250-ton lattice boom crawler crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections of hydraulic systems, wire ropes, hooks, booms, and structural components.
• Read load charts, lift plans, and crane capacities based on radius, boom, and counterweight.
• Assess ground conditions to ensure crane stability and safe placement.
• Coordinate with riggers and field crews using hand signals and radios.
• Execute lifts in accordance with safety standards and lift plans.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate crane logs and maintenance documentation.
