Job summary

Quevera seeks an Application Engineer III (24x7) with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph at Fort Meade, Maryland. The role supports the Secure the Enterprise initiative, driving automation and continuous monitoring across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include data reliability, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and Linux and AWS operations. Shifts are 12-hour rotating, providing 24/7 watch floor coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant experience OR
• Associate's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR
• Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR
• Doctoral degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain data reliability and accuracy of application systems.
• Provide proactive troubleshooting and performance monitoring across the stack.
• Track metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and application status to prevent downtime.
• Identify service degradation, failed dataflows, and application issues and escalate.
• Perform basic Linux administration tasks and manage server reboots.
• Support cloud-based operations using AWS Console or AWS CLI.
