Job summary

Riverside Academy in Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with specific needs in class, small groups and 1:1. The successful candidate will have experience with children and a commitment to inclusive education.

This fixed-term, part-time role (27.5 hours per week, term-time) runs until August 2027, with a 38-week year. A good standard in English and Maths (GCSE C) and NVQ Level 2 or above are required. Start date asap, with an interview on 23/10/2026.

  • has experience of working with children (essential) with specific needs in class, small groups and in 1:1 situations
  • has English and Maths Grade C GCSE or equivalent (essential)
  • has NVQ Level 2 (or above)
  • is firm, kind, patient, consistent and approachable
  • is friendly, ready to join in and engage with learning with the children
