Job summary

Tymberwood Academy, part of REAch2 Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Needs Teacher to start as soon as possible. You will help identify pupils with SEND, lead in developing teaching and small-step curricula in the SEND unit, and shape assessment processes with the SENDCo to promote strong outcomes for pupils with SEN or a disability.

Qualifications

• Secure knowledge of the Primary curriculum and SEND provision.
• Proficient IT use across professional duties.
• Understand the SEND Code of Practice and know how to seek specialist advice.

Responsibilities

• Identify pupils with SEND and lead development of teaching and learning in the SEND unit.
• Develop small-step curricula and assessment processes with the SENDCo.
