Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd is recruiting Core Subject SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to transform lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. You will plan engaging lessons, report on progress, and deliver trauma-informed tutoring for pupils with SEND from KS1 to KS5 as appropriate.

The role is based in the UK and requires QTS/QTLS and enhanced DBS, with support to secure the DBS if needed. Applicants should have 2+ years of teaching experience, especially with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD,

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/ PMLD in trauma-informed approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are expected.
• Subjects: Maths, English and/or Science.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring to SEND pupils.
• Support pupils and students referred by local authorities and schools.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools in the area.

  Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way

• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)

• Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
