Building U invites high school students aged 16-17 to apply for the Senate Page program in Washington, D.C. This unique opportunity involves assisting senators with legislative duties, attending the Senate Page School, and gaining hands-on experience in American democracy.
Participants receive personal development, and a stipend for their service while continuing their education. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and meet other health-related requirements.
Program Length: Fall Semester: 5 months (September 1 – January 23), Spring Semester: 4.5 months (January 25 – June 5), Summer Sessions: 1 month each (June and July)

Pages assist senators and staff with legislative duties on the Senate floor, deliver correspondence, prepare the chamber for sessions, and carry bills and amendments.
Students attend the Senate Page School in the early morning before their Senate duties, continuing their education while serving.
