Job summary

Ebara Technologies is seeking a qualified Applications Engineer to support vacuum and abatement systems for semiconductor customers. You’ll review designs, prepare specifications, and aid field teams with installation planning and troubleshooting, all while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You’ll collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and global teams to tailor solutions, interpret data, and deliver practical guidance that keeps equipment running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• BS/BE in Engineering or equivalent experience; chemical/physics focus preferred.
• 1–4 years in semiconductor industry is advantageous.
• Strong MS Office and presentation capabilities required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review open service requests and prepare guidance for field engineers.
• Assist Sales to shape customer proposals and specify parts.
• Support installation planning and troubleshoot on-site or remotely.
• Create concise application notes and complete safety training.
• Provide technical support for operating systems and product selection.
