ITest Inc in San Jose, CA is seeking a skilled Semiconductor Test Operator to join our growing team in the heart of Silicon Valley.

You will operate automated test equipment (ATE), load wafers and dies, monitor yields, and collaborate with process and test engineers to support continuous improvement.

This role requires a high school diploma and a technical mindset; prior semiconductor testing experience is a plus, and adherence to cleanroom and ESD procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in electronics preferred.
• Prior experience in semiconductor testing, wafer probing, or back-end manufacturing a plus.
• Familiarity with ATE platforms, test handlers, and probe stations.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated test equipment (ATE) to perform functional and parametric testing of semiconductor devices.
• Load and unload wafers, dies, or packaged ICs onto test handlers and probers.
• Monitor test yields and report anomalies or out-of-spec results to engineering staff.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration checks, and basic troubleshooting.
• Document test data, lot traveler information, and production records accurately.
• Follow ESD protocols, cleanroom procedures, and all safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with process and test engineers to support continuous improvement initiatives.
