Job summary

Efficient Computer is transforming computing energy efficiency with its Fabric architecture and Electron E1 processor. We are building a small, high-impact Supply Chain and Operations team and seek an experienced manager to lead sourcing, IP procurement, and logistics across fabless and foundry partners.

You will collaborate with design and engineering teams, drive cost analyses, negotiate licenses and NREs, and ensure compliance across international shipments and ITAR-like controls.

Qualifications

• 6+ years (Manager) or 8+ years (Senior Manager) of supply chain, sourcing, or procurement experience, with direct experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven experience sourcing, evaluating, and procuring third‑party semiconductor IP and negotiating licenses, NRE, royalties, scope, and renewals.
• Partner with design/verif engineers to evaluate IP technically and commercially: node compatibility, silicon proof, vendor support, and financial health.
• Strong logistics and trade operations experience: freight forwarders, international shipping, customs, duties, and incoterms.
• Hands-on knowledge of how a chip is designed, manufactured, packaged, tested, and shipped; foundry/OSAT management a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel, and the ability to build trackers and templates.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of third‑party semiconductor IP and licenses.
• Partner with design and verification teams to assess IP technically and commercially.
• Oversee logistics and trade operations including international shipments and customs.
• Drive cost analyses, vendor negotiations, and contract management with tax and regulatory awareness.
