Job summary

Efficient Computer is expanding its Supply Chain and Operations team and seeks a hands-on Manager to lead sourcing, procurement, and logistics for semiconductor IP. You will evaluate, negotiate, and manage third-party IP, collaborate with design engineers, and drive cost-saving initiatives in a fast-moving startup environment.

You will work with engineers, executives, and external partners to ensure timely ramp across multiple programs, while building scalable processes, trackers, and supplier

Qualifications

• 6+ years (Manager) or 8+ years (Senior Manager) of supply chain, sourcing, or procurement experience in semiconductors.
• Experience sourcing, evaluating, and procuring third-party semiconductor IP including license fees, NRE, royalties, scope, and renewals.
• Ability to partner with design and verification engineers to evaluate IP technically and commercially.
• Strong logistics and trade operations experience: freight forwarders, international shipping, customs clearance, imports/exports, incoterms.
• Working knowledge of chip design/manufacturing/packaging/test/shipping; hands-on foundry/OSAT management is a plus.
• Strong cost analysis, negotiation, and contract skills.
• Advanced Excel and analytic discipline to build trackers and templates.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and procure third-party semiconductor IP (cores, interfaces, SerDes, memory compilers, libraries, analog/IP).
• Negotiate license fees, NRE, royalties, scope, and renewals.
• Partner with design/verification engineers to assess IP technically and commercially (process node, foundry compatibility, silicon proof, vendor support).
• Oversee logistics/trade operations: freight forwarders, carriers, international shipping, customs, duties, tariffs, incoterms.
• Understand chip design/manufacturing life cycle; engage with foundries/OSAT; manage supplier relationships.
• Develop trackers, templates, and procedures; escalate risks with options and recommendations.
