Job summary

ASU's Environmental Health and Safety is hiring an experienced Safety Partner to monitor the workplace environment and investigate safety concerns and/or accidents. The ideal candidate will support EHS programs with emphasis on semiconductor safety and compliance for university operations.

The role involves safety training, hazard analysis, and collaboration with faculty, staff and industry tenants to ensure health and safety standards are met across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in safety or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards, assess risks and recommend controls to maintain a safe workplace.
• Develop and deliver safety training and participate in emergency response activities.
• Monitor environmental health and safety programs and assist with safety audits and inspections.
• Coordinate safety education, outreach, and workshops for faculty, staff and students.
