Integress, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Application Engineer to join our Semiconductor Robot Engineering team in San Jose, CA.

You will lead development, testing and maintenance of robotic products for the semiconductor industry and coordinate across mechanical, electrical, software and prototype teams. The role requires a 4+ year engineering degree, 5+ years in automation/semiconductor applications in vacuum environments, CAD proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year college degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of application experience in automation or semiconductor industry related to vacuum environment equipment.
• Experience with 3D and 2D CAD software.
• Knowledge of automation system, including the theory of operation, key components, major failure mode.
• Knowledge of basic programming logic.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills – ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts in form of presentation.
• Be able to understand and implement new engineering concept in short period of time.
• Be able to manage multiple tasks/projects during same period of time.
• Knowledge of MS office (word, excel, power point).
• Experience using AutoCAD software.
• Experience using NX software.
• Experience with vacuum environment robot.

Responsabilités

• Respond to customer’s request on semiconductor robot application.
• Lead the activity of prototype design projects following project process. Provide guidance to mechanical design team, electrical team, software team and prototype team to complete robot application within committed timeline.
• Create CAD drawings, 3D models and engineering documents to meet customer’s expectations.
• Provide technical guidance on robot system issues.
• Provide field support on customer’s site, including domestic or oversea travels.
