Job summary

Apparent Technologies, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead the Quality department at our manufacturing facility.

You will balance quality management, team leadership, process improvement, and technical inspection knowledge in a fast-paced environment. The role partners with Production, Operations, Engineering, R&D, suppliers, and customers to maintain ISO 9001 standards and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality teams in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and oversee the Quality department and Quality Inspection team.
• Manage daily Quality activities and coordinate inspection priorities with Operations and Production.
• Train, mentor, and develop Quality personnel to support growth.
• Establish and monitor quality goals, KPIs, inspection metrics, nonconformance trends.
• Identify staffing, training, equipment, and process needs to support production volume.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and defect prevention.
• Serve as primary contact for quality issues with cross-functional teams.
