Job summary

The Entegris, Inc. Bedford, MA site is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join the Manufacturing Engineering team.

You will perform in-process and final inspections, support FA investigations, and assist with customer complaint investigations while following SPC guidance and RFC activities. You will work on the factory floor with engineers, create and update quality documentation, verify release readiness, and help drive quality issues to closure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent manufacturing/technical work experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, cleanroom, or production environment; semiconductor industry preferred.
• Familiarity with SPC concepts, Out of Control (OOC) and Out of Specification (OOS) conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to visually inspect, measure, and disposition materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify products meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Support Failure Analysis (FA) investigations, including data collection, testing, inspection, documentation, and follow-up.
• Support customer complaint investigations, including containment activities, data collection, product evaluation, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and support Metrology RFC activities, ensuring issues are escalated, investigated, documented, and driven to closure.
• Create, review, and update work instructions and quality-related documentation to reflect current processes.
• Perform final data verification prior to product release and customer data submission.
• Verify product release readiness and ensure NCs or non-conformances are resolved or documented.
• Maintain quality records and prepare quality metrics and reports for monitoring and improvement.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Metrology, and Quality teams to investigate issues and reduce defects.
