Job summary

The Entegris site in Bedford, MA is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Process Engineering Technician to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. You will review questionable materials, disposition them using defect libraries, and support SPC events on the factory floor.

On engineering runs you’ll measure data, help investigate root causes, and assist with continuous improvement. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration with engineers on the production line.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or technical discipline; High School diploma or GED also acceptable.
• Experience in a manufacturing, cleanroom, or production environment; semiconductor industry preferred.
• Familiarity with SPC concepts, including Out of Control (OOC) and Out of Specification (OOS).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to visually inspect, measure, and disposition materials consistently.
• Comfortable using measurement tools and following work instructions, response flows, and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review questionable and non-conforming materials on the factory floor and disposition them using defect libraries and standard criteria.
• Troubleshoot process problems arising from defects and SPC events; support investigations by gathering data and documenting observations.
• Maintain defect libraries, response flows, and process documents; update and release accurate work instructions and flows.
• Support engineering runs on manufacturing equipment; measure data, record results, and summarize findings for engineering review.
