Job summary

PrideNow is seeking a Process Engineer to perform lab activities, sample preparation, and metrology measurements in a semi-conductor lab in Fremont, CA. You will develop and tune processing recipes, monitor tool alarms, and help engineers troubleshoot to improve yield and robustness.

The role requires a BS in a related field and 4+ years of semiconductor experience, with the ability to work flexible swing shifts in a clean room environment and travel between equipment and control rooms as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electronics, materials science, computer science, chemistry, physics.
• Four+ years' experience in semi-conductor industry building or troubleshooting roles.
• Able to work in clean room environment with PPE.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Able to install components at heights and reach into machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering lab activities for customer demos or process experiments.
• Set up processing equipment, monitor and guide line operators.
• Record, chart, and present results to identify yield issues or test new products.
• Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering teams.
• Handle metrology measurements and SEM imaging.
• Develop and optimize process recipes for robustness.
