Job summary

Safran Defense & Space, Inc. is seeking a Semiconductor Process Technician with hands-on experience in photolithography, etching, thin films and metals deposition in a Focal Plane Array environment.

The role requires handling delicate optoelectronic components and following process instructions with minimal supervision. Applicants should have an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) in Electronics, Physics, or Materials Science and at least 5 years of semiconductor processing experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics, Physics, Materials Science (Bachelor's preferred).
• At least 5 years of hands-on semiconductor processing experience.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform semiconductor wafer processing tasks: photolithography, etching, thin films and metals deposition.
• Handle wafers and small opto-electronic components.
• Record process data and logs to identify trends and support corrective actions to improve yield and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop processing techniques, tool recipes, and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment per industry standards and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
