Job summary

Safran DSI in the Ventura/Oxnard area is seeking a Semiconductor Process Technician with hands-on fabrication experience to support our defense and space programs.

You will perform photolithography, etching, thin films and metals deposition, handle delicate optoelectronic components, and collaborate with engineering to optimize process yield while complying with ITAR and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on semiconductor processing experience.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Perform photolithography, etching, thin films and metals deposition with precision.
• Handle semiconductor wafers and small opto-electronic components.
• Record process data and equipment logs to identify trends and improve yield.
• Collaborate with engineering to refine processing techniques and tool recipes.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in compliance with industry standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
