Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking Process and Equipment Maintenance Technicians to support wafer fabrication in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, analyzing data, and collaborating with shift operations, engineers, and vendors to improve efficiency and yield.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off or 4 on/3 off) and rotate day/night shifts.
• Willingness to alternate assignments between ROC and in-FAB (80% ROC).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor semiconductor processing equipment; manage up to 25 systems.
• Support wafer process efficiency and quality through collaboration with engineering and operations.
• Assist process development teams to improve workstation operations and reduce bottlenecks.
• Use data analysis to guide process decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Work in cleanroom and office environments; follow safety protocols.
• Perform tasks including standing long hours, lifting 25–40 lbs, and PPE use.
• Document deviations and drive root-cause improvements.
• Lead equipment maintenance and improvement projects within scope, schedule, budget.
• Understand HVAC/R and cleanroom systems relevant to wafer fabrication.
