Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. is launching a large-scale manufacturing operation in Farmers Branch, TX. The leader will shape the technology and team powering our next growth phase in semiconductor test and measurement.

You will supervise process engineers and technicians across fab processes, probe assembly, SMT operations, and new product introduction, driving yields and cost objectives with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a engineering discipline related to semiconductor manufacturing.
• 5+ years in semiconductor/manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading teams of engineers/technicians.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering, statistical methods, DOE and FMEA.
• Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and communicate with management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of process engineers and technicians across fab, probe, SMT and new product introduction.
• Translate department goals into daily priorities and deliverables.
• Monitor yield, Cp/Cpk, cycle time, OEE, and defects; drive corrective actions.
• Oversee processes like thin-film deposition, lithography, etch, metallization, planarization, cleaning and metrology.
• Own qualification and integration of new fab equipment, chemistries, materials and automation.
• Develop breakthrough capabilities to improve probe coplanarity, electrical performance, and reliability.
• Oversee SMT assembly processes and vertical probe card manufacturing; ensure DFM and scalability.
• Lead root-cause analysis for yield excursions and failures; drive structured problem solving and automation.
