MACOM in Milpitas, CA is looking for a Process Engineering Intern to join the Engineering Team. You will work with experienced engineers, receive mentoring, and tackle a defined project during a 12-week internship.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical engineering, materials science, or chemical engineering. Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, plus data analysis and DoE, and precise documentation are valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, or related field.
• Baseline knowledge of mechanical and/or chemical engineering; semiconductor backend experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks required.
• Strong data analysis and DoE capabilities; precise documentation.
• Independent thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Work alongside experienced engineers with mentoring and guidance.
• Complete a defined 12-week project with set outcome goals.
• Gain hands-on experience and receive training and supervision.
• Attend intern webinars and networking events; present project at a poster session.
• Document results clearly and receive formal feedback.
