Actalent in Beverly, MA is seeking a Process Engineer to oversee end-to-end qualification and customer acceptance readiness for advanced deposition and etch systems. You will ensure tools meet performance and reliability targets before shipment, partnering with cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, and customer engineering.

The role requires hands-on process characterization, metrology proficiency, and strong data analytics to drive robust validation plans and successful product

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with 2+ years, or 6–12 years of experience encouraged to apply.
• Experience in thin-film deposition, etch, or related semiconductor processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; DOE, SPC, MSA experience helpful.
• Able to interpret complex data and translate into improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualification strategies from customer specs and FA documents.
• Characterize, optimize, and validate deposition/etch processes and metrology.
• Analyze data to identify trends and reduce variability in performance.
• Lead cross-functional investigations and implement robust solutions.
• Prepare qualification reports and support acceptance tests and reviews.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and customer teams on new deployments.
