Job summary

Polar Semiconductor seeks a Process Engineer Intern in Bloomington, MN for a temporary 12-13 week program. You will report to the Lead Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering and study core semiconductor processing areas (FEOL, Photolithography, BEOL) to build first-principles understanding and improve process stability, tool availability, and line yield.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated independent achievement and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Study the interactions between process conditions, chamber conditions, and other variables.
• Drive a specific project within one of the functional areas culminating in a high visibility presentation.
• Engage with other team members to monitor daily manufacturing activities and improve operational efficiency.
