Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Process Engineer II to develop and optimize industrial processes for a broad product range used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will design, install, and commission production units, scale processes from lab to plant, and ensure environmental, health and safety compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in engineering within semiconductor processing, strong analytical skills, and collaboration across engineering, operations and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with at least two years of experience in semiconductor processing.
• Experience in high-technology manufacturing, preferably semiconductor capital equipment.
• Ability to develop and optimize production processes and scale from lab to plant.
• Strong documentation: SOPs, work instructions, reports.
• Strong collaboration across engineering, quality, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains eRecipes, process work instructions, SOPs, to support production.
• Monitors production equipment and supports upgrades.
• Ensures compliance with procedures and quality standards.
• Participates in audits and CAPA activities.
• Liaises with Engineering Manager to implement BKMs.
