Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a key customer-facing technical role leading new part and process introduction while managing change control to support Operations.

We offer potential for Process Engineer I or II level depending on experience, with compensation determined by qualifications. The role emphasizes performance in a fast-paced environment with strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Process Engineer I: 0–2 years in relevant field).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering plus 2+ years in parts cleaning OR 4+ years overall for Process Engineer II.
• ASQ Certification, Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
• ISO9001 lead auditor training/certification preferred; JMP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily engineering support to production to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Lead installation and qualification of new equipment and analytical instruments.
• Interact with customers to lead new part and process development and qualification projects.
• Support external and internal audits with technical expertise.
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives and escalations to closure.
• Develop chemical processes, mechanical designs, or robotic programs as needed.
• Perform risk assessment activities (DFMEA/PFMEA) and maintain process control plans.
