Job summary

Teledyne Scientific & Imaging, based in California, is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer to design, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for high-performance detectors. The role involves collaboration with engineers and process development in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience for Bachelor's degree or 2+ years for Master's degree.
• Analyze SPC data, run experiments, and contribute to process documentation.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for detector arrays.
• Support detector production and process development in a cleanroom environment.
• Collaborate with development engineers for technology transfer.

Skills

Strong foundation in semiconductor device design and fabrication techniques

Hands-on experience with silicon device fabrication and cleanroom operations

Experience with DOE, statistical analysis, and manufacturing process control

Strong communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Master’s degree in relevant field
