Job summary

Siemens EDA in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an Application and Product Engineer for Semiconductor Process and Device Simulations. You will join the Calibre R&D Team to develop high-fidelity models of fabrication steps and metrology, enabling faster, more cost-effective chip development.

Candidates should have a PhD or MS with 5+ years of experience in EE/Applied Physics, with expertise in plasma etch, CVD, ALD, CMP, epitaxy, ion implantation, and DTCO.

Qualifications

• PhD (or MS + 5+ years) in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Expertise in semiconductor fabrication processes, DTCO, and metrology.
• Experience with device physics and nano-scale integration flows.

Responsibilities

• Develop Calibre tool capabilities for process and device simulations.
